What did Frank Zappa use to say, "Don't go eating that yellow snow!" Well, according to some recently released research data, even the snow-white version might not be the best for you.
The study I'm referring to revolves around residual pesticides found in the snow of such parks as Mount Rainier, Glacier, Denali, Gates of the Arctic, and Rocky Mountain.
While the pesticide traces are incredibly small -- measured in fractions of nanograms, which themselves equal about one-billionth of a gram -- this study shows how much of an impact us humans are having on this rock we call Earth.
You can read the details here.
