Ahhh, the slow fall shoulder season is hitting many parks, and some concessionaires are responding with special lodging deals.
At Yosemite, you'll find special rates at the Wawona Hotel, Yosemite Lodge at the Falls, and The Ahwahnee into mid-December.
For instance, at Wawona a midweek room -- without a bathroom -- is going for $59 a night, with weekend rates starting at $89 per night. These rates are good through the rest of October, then November 1-9, 13-21 and December fourth.
At Yosemite Lodge, the specials are $89 per night from November 27-30 and December 3-7 and 10-14, with a slight boost to $104 a night November 13-15 and December 1, 8 and 9.
Finally, The Ahwahnee specials are $199 a night December 10-14 and $299 a night December 8 and 9.
