    A 12,493-foot knob of a mountain in Rocky Mountain National Park that long has been referred to as Mount Mahler has now officially been named in honor of classical composer Gustav Mahler.
    Apparently this honor has been in the works since 1969, when some climbers reached the summit of the then-unnamed peak that towers above Lake Agnes and felt it should bear Mahler's name.
