Storm Closes Roads in Olympic, Mount Rainier

Not only did my beloved Raiders get smeared all over the field last night by the Seahawks during a storm-impacted game, but the incredibly wet weather in the Northwest has shut down roads in both Olympic and Mount Rainier national parks.
In Mount Rainier, more than 10 inches of rain have fallen, prompting officials to close roads leading into the park. Yep, an entire national park has been closed due to rain. You can updates at the park's web site.
Over at Olympic, the closures were more selective. For instance, the Hurricane Ridge Road was closed due to rocks on the road, the Hoh Road was closed three miles west of the park, the Quinault North Shore Road was closed east of Finley Creek, the Quinault South Shore Road was closed outside the park boundary, and both the Quinault Graves Creek Road and Quinault North Fork Road were closed.
Additionally, the Ozette area is inaccessible due to flooding, the Queets Road was shut down last night, the Mora Campground is closed due to flooding, the road to Rialto Beach was expected to close last night due to flooding, and the Dosewallips and Staircase roads remain closed due to previous damage and unsafe conditions.
