You can add Glacier to the list of parks being impacted by a strong storm system that moved northeast from Hawaii and has been pounding the northwest.
Park officials say the Going-to-the-Sun Road is closed at Lake McDonald Lodge due to flooding. This morning saw the horse bridge over upper McDonald Creek under water, and just a little past Avalanche Creek the Sun Road was under 2 feet of water.
On the east side of the park, the Sun Road is open from St. Mary to Rising Sun.
You can check on Glacier's road conditions at this web site.
