The National Park Service's plan to lease 36 historic buildings at Fort Hancock in the Gateway National Recreation Area to a commercial developer isn't a done deal yet.
Later this month foes to the deal plan to return to U.S. District Court with an argument that the proposed lease violates the National Park Service Organic Act, the National Environmental Policy Act, and the National Historic Preservation Act.
You can read the latest in this tug-of-war in the Asbury Park Press.
