Road Repairs in Glacier Slog On Through Winter

Construction projects in the Rockies are never easy. And they're particularly difficult in the middle of winter. But at Glacier National Park, crews are working hard despite the snow and the cold to make repairs to the Going-to-the-Sun Road so visitors will be able to negotiate the road end-to-end this summer.
The damage, of course, was inflicted by an unusually strong November storm that left tens of millions of dollars in damage strewn from Olympic and North Cascades national parks to Mount Rainier and Glacier.
In Glacier, crews are working five days a week to repair the damage, and will bring in a temporary bridge normally used by the Army to help them make repairs. You can find updates here and here.
