There's been a long, simmering story revolving around Harpers Ferry National Historical Park and threats developers pose to it.
The latest turn is a bit of good news, as the Charles Town City Council narrowly rejected a proposal that would have allowed the city to annex land for a 638-acre office site, land that has ties to the Civil War. However, the developers pledge not to let this ruling end their dream.
