Acadia National Park: No Fee Creep There

Perhaps the superintendent didn't get the memo. Maybe it got lost in the mail. Whatever the reason, entrance fees at Acadia National Park are not going up this year.
Rather, park officials hope to do a better job collecting the fees that they have -- $20 entrance fee for seven days per vehicle June 23 through early October, $10 the rest of the year, $5 per individual; $40 annual pass; Camping at Blackwoods Campground, $20 (May 1-October 31), $10 (April and November), free (December 1-March 31) and at Seawall Campground: $14 walk-in, $20 drive-in.
