In a bid to prevent the emerald ash borer from invading their forests, a number of national forests and national parks are asking campers not to bring firewood to the parks with them.
For now the problem seems restricted to the Michigan-Ohio area, but rangers at Great Smoky Mountains National Park are asking campers not to bring wood into the park with them.
