Exploring New York City's National Parks
Submitted by Kurt Repanshek on November 21, 2007 - 3:21pm
East Coast viewers get a chance this holiday weekend to update themselves with national parks and monuments in the greater metropolitan area of New York City via public television station WNET, Channel 13.
Station CEO Bill Baker will be the tour guide as Channel 13 explores "the largest wildlife refuge in the Northeast, surfing spots within easy view of the Empire State Building, the birthplace of the Bill of Rights, and America's newest National Monument -- the African Burial Ground."
The show premiers Thanksgiving Day at 8 p.m. Eastern. Other viewing times include 4:45 Friday morning and 3 p.m. Saturday afternoon.
As they say, check with your service provider to see if you get this channel.
