It looks like a modpod egg chair. I think they were designed for the 1964 New York World's Fair. Originals are pretty rare and expensive. Did not know the NPS had any of these.

I saw some mention of egg chairs being used for an audio program at Klondike Gold Rush National Historical Park.

I've never been to Klondike Gold Rush NHP, but I do know this photo wasn't taken there.
