Join Yosemite Conservancy and Get a Sweet Deal On High Country Camps in Yosemite National Park

Not only has the season for the High Sierra Camps in Yosemite National Park's backcountry been extended, but Yosemite Conservancy supporters can get a nice discount on the rates. Photos by DNC Parks & Resorts at Yosemite.

Here's a nice benefit for being a Yosemite Conservancy supporter: You can get a sweet discount on the rates for staying in the High Sierra Camps in Yosemite National Park's backcountry.

DNC Parks & Resorts at Yosemite just recently announced that it was extending the 2010 season for these camps and that it was giving Yosemite Conservancy supporters a 20 percent discount on the rates, which can climb to $153 per day for an adult. (That rate includes a bed, breakfast and dinner). That discount jumps to 40 percent if you have your sights set on the Merced Lake Camp.
