This map gives you a good idea of how intensive the search has been for a plane missing over Katmai National Park and Preserve. You can see a larger version at this site.
To get a great idea of how many flights have been made, and what paths those flights took, in the ongoing search for a missing plane over Katmai National Park and Preserve, the National Park Service has posted some maps.
You can find the maps at this page. Park officials say they're going to try to update the maps on a daily basis.
As the maps clearly show, the searchers have been covering a huge amount of acreage over the 4-million acre park.
If you click on the maps, they'll enlarge on your monitor.
