Water water everywhere and not a drink to be had? If you find yourself in that predicament at Lake Powell in Glen Canyon National Recreation Area, point your boat to the Halls Crossing Marina, where a floating restaurant and lounge is open for business.

The convenience store and snack bar was towed nearly 100 miles up Lake Powell to be anchored at the marina.

“We are pleased that our partner Lake Powell Resorts and Marinas has brought new services to the popular Halls Crossing boating destination in San Juan County, Utah,” said Glen Canyon NRA Superintendent Todd Brindle.

The 6,000-square-foot operation includes picnic tables in a shady spot and a second-floor lounge area atop the restaurant features beautiful views of Lake Powell and the Colorado Plateau.

Halls Crossing also offers fueling facilities, launch ramps, a free boat pump-out station, and overnight accommodations.
