Eight individuals from across the country have won a week-long adventure, thanks to the National Park Foundation and support from partners REI, Subaru, Aramark, Columbia Sportswear, Southwest , and the National Park Service.

The participants were chosen as part of the 2015 Find Your Park Expedition, and will travel together to Mesa Verde National Park in Colorado, beginning the week of October 11, visiting Great Sand Dunes National Park and Preserve along the way, and will share all of their experiences online.

Andia Winslow, Victor Wei, Mara Grace Cortez, Andrew Lin, Javier Gonzalez, Mellie Davis, Casey Schreiner, and Whitney Mitchell were selected for this year’s Expedition, from hundreds of social media personalities and bloggers. The 2015 Expedition marks the third year of the program, which began as the American Latino Expedition, created by the American Latino Heritage Fund and the National Park Service.

The National Park Foundation's 2015 Find Your Park Expedition highlights the essence of the Find Your Park/Encuentra Tu Parque campaign, engaging people from all backgrounds and inspiring them to discover all that a park can be through a variety of park experiences.

"A park can be many different things to many different people and we can't wait to experience our national parks through the eyes of this year's participants," said Will Shafroth, president and CEO of the National Park Foundation. "We're grateful to our partners for supporting the expedition, inspiring people from all backgrounds to explore and share their own unique connections to parks."

The participants will spend the week at Mesa Verde participating in tours and presentations led by park staff, featuring the cultural, natural, and historical features of the park.

"We look forward to welcoming the expedition to Mesa Verde," said Mesa Verde Superintendent Cliff Spencer. "Fall is a great time to visit Southwest Colorado and experience the rich cultural history of the Four Corners region."
