NPS: We Want Your News

Share

At National Parks Traveler, our goal is to provide daily editorial coverage of the National Park System. National Park Service offices across the country can help us with that goal by emailing their news to us directly.

While many park system units already do that, a great many do not, either because they don't know how to reach the Traveler or don't always have the staff available to generate releases. We realize there is a central website where individual park releases are supposed to show up, but it does not always function as designed. To backstop that system, if you could add our news email address ([email protected]) to your media distribution list, we'd be extremely grateful.

Also, if your park has organized a centennial-specific activity, such as "Hike 100 Miles With The Superintendent," or "Paddle 100 Miles In Our Park," please let us know. A roundup of all the parks with such activities this centennial year would make a great story for national park travelers.

Thanks in advance. ~ National Parks Traveler
