National Parks Traveler Housekeeping

Here at the Traveler we recently did a little reorganization to make it easier to find some resource materials.

You'll now see a "Learn" button on the masthead. Click on this and you'll get a dropdown menu: Traveler eBooks, Essential Guides, Gear Lists, and Parks. Each of these leads to their respective category.

Under eBooks, you'll find not only a link to purchase our Young Explorer's Guide to Yellowstone, Traveler's first eBook, but a teaser for our next eBook on Wildfires in National Parks. Plus, we've listed Colleen Miniuk-Sperry's wonderful book on photographing Acadia National Park, which is available in both hard copy and eBook formats.

The link to Essential Guides, naturally, leads to every Essential Guide the Traveler has produced, from our very first back in 2013. "Gear Lists" pertains to hiking both the Appalachian National Scenic Trail and the Pacific Crest Trail, along with a basic gear list for canoeing.

Finally, "Parks" takes you to a list of the country's national parks, including some pages that offer travel information to parks. These are a work in progress, of course, and we are aware that some need to be updated.
