The Planetary Society wants citizens everywhere to know the cosmos and our place within it. As you know, this year is the 100th anniversary of the National Park Service. For 100 years the Park Service has been preserving our natural wonders so that we can go to the parks... and wonder! This wonder is what drives so much of science.

As astronomer Tyler Nordgren likes to say, "Half the Park is After Dark." So when you're in our National Parks, look up at the night sky and see all those stars. And wonder.
