Campers hoping to find a site at Devils Postpile National Monument in California will need to look elsewhere this summer. Park officials say winter storm and flood damage and prioritization of trail repairs will require that the campground remain closed.

However, within the nearby Reds Meadow Valley, there are another 128 first-come, first-served campsites run by the U.S. Forest Service that park officials suggest you consider. The Minaret Vista Station provides site availability information before you enter the Reds Meadow Valley.
