- 11/17/2008 2:01 pm - Keeping History Honest When It Comes to Sight Lines In Civil War-era National Parks Is Not Without Controversy : I think some clearing is ok and that only some areas of the battlefields should be cleared of non-historic plants if the area has limited other non-historic improvements or removed as well. In addition, not all of the trees have to be removed.
