Daryl Miller is unquestionably a rare breed. Most famously known as the head climbing ranger of Denali National Park, Daryl has lived a life filled with adventure and challenges even before he took on the task of rescuing stranded and injured climbers from the cliffs of Mt. McKinley. There is a feature article in the Feb. 8, issue of the Anchorage Daily News about Daryl. He continues to take on arduous challenges now combating Parkinson's Disease.
