Must be spring in the Rockies. The folks at Glacier National Park have released the operating schedule for their campgrounds. For user ease, I've attached the schedule as a PDF.
The dates listed represent the first day and the last night of camping for each category. During primitive camping there is NO water provided and any water taken from streams or lakes will require treatment prior to use.
Primitive camping I seem to recall used to be free, but it seems those days are gone, as you'll now have to fork over $10 per night for the privilege. Still, not a terribly bad deal, considering the views.
Anyone care to share suggestions on which campgrounds to avoid, and which to focus on?
