New Trail Web Site for the Smoky Mountains
I just ran into this web site the other day and saw there was a brand new forum. I thought I would kick things off and be the first person to post a message in the hiking area of this forum.
I wanted to announce to those interested that I have a new hiking web site that I recently launched. My goal is to provide the most comprehensive site on the internet for hiking and trail information in Great Smoky Mountains Natonal Park. The site includes key features, trail descriptions, directions, pictures, maps, elevation profiles, difficulty ratings and more. I hope to add video for a couple of trails in a couple of weeks as well.
The site is www.HikingintheSmokys.com
If anybody is planning a hiking trip to the Smokies let me know if I can help with any trail advice.
Happy Trails....

Thanks for the news, Smoky Mountain Hiker. That's just the sort of information we're hoping folks will share. I'll check to see if you're on our favorites page; if not, I'll add you to it.
Cheers,
Kurt

Kurt - thank you, I would love to be added to your links page. I also have a blog that your readers may be interested in as well. It's at: http://hikinginthesmokys.blogspot.com/
As you can see, it's still in it's infancy, but I hope to add a new article at least once a week on subjects such as: what's new in the Smokies, hiking tips, historical tidbits related to the Smokies, book reviews, etc.. BTW, I found your web site while researching N.P. entrance fees for an article I did on my blog.
Anyway, you have a very good web site as well. If you're interested, I can link to your site as well.
