  • The Friends of Theodore Roosevelt National Park invite the public for a special trip to discover the Elkhorn Ranch on Saturday, July 14.

    A bus will transport participants from the park’s South Unit Visitor Center at 9 a.m. and will return at approximately 1 p.m. MDT.

    “The Elkhorn Ranch was Theodore Roosevelt’s home in the badlands,” said Superintendent Valerie Naylor.

  • Today the Elkhorn Ranch Unit of Theodore Roosevelt National Park is an overgrown parcel along the Little Missouri River.

  • If you find yourself in Glacier National Park in mid-July, and need to cool off, you can accomplish that and benefit the Glacier National Park Fund by joining a rafting trip on the Flathead River.

    The fundraiser hosted by Montana Raft Company is set for Sunday, July 15.
