    Yellowstone's bison population is close to 5,000/Marcelle Shoop

    The annual summer census of bison in Yellowstone National Park shows there are about 5,000 of the iconic animals in the park.

  • The Enchanted Valley Chalet in Olympic National Park soon will be on the move, to a location a bit farther away from the East Fork Quinault River that slowly has been eating away the ground beneath the historic log building.
