If you've read the last 10 items on this website, you'd think that the National Parks are all about gloom and doom. I mean, we've got people getting killed by rockfall, the army storming the beaches of Southern California, rangers stopping drunk hunters, whistleblowers getting fired, and on and on. Well, I did not create this website to focus on the negative. Actually, I created it for quite the opposite reason. I wanted to talk about something I love, and, I love our system of National Parks here in the good ol' U S of A. So, starting tomorrow, Friday's posts will be reserved for "fun stuff". We'll leave the "heavy" topics for the rest of the week.
