I few years ago, I had the opportunity to hear Lee Stetson give a living history presentation as John Muir in Yosemite National Park. It is exactly the type of educational and entertaining experience that I think a lot of people go to our National Parks hoping to find. Stetson has been perfecting his performance for 24 years during the summers in the park. The rest of the year, he and others take the show on the road. Modern audiences can learn a lot from the man who helped shape the very idea of National Parks. If you are planning a visit, it's worth a call ahead to find out if/when/where Stetson will be performing as Muir. There is also an official website with a lot more information about these programs: John Muir Presentations.Read More:
