Thousands of years ago, glaciers carved their way through Montana, and glaciers continue to make their mark on Montana today. On the 2011 quarter, the northeast slope of Mount Reynolds towers in the distance while in the foreground stands a sure-footed mountain goat atop a rocky outgrowth. The words GLACIER, MONTANA, 2011, and E PLURIBUS UNUM are also inscribed along the edge of the quarter. As circulated quarters continue to be difficult to find, these collections will become a premium item. Uncirculated State Quarters are a rare find and continue to climb in value and demand. Quarter prices are subject to change without notice.
