National Park Mystery Photo 39: An Uncommon Configuration

This stuff normally doesn't look like this.

Mystery Photo 39 depicts an uncommon configuration of something that is not uncommon. Can you tell what that something is and where in the National Park System this photo was taken?

The answer will be revealed in tomorrow's Traveler.

Not in Golden Gate National Recreation Area.

Is it in Golden Gate National Rec Area

Nope; not Minuteman Missle NHS. Geographically speaking, however, this guess isn't as far off as the last one.

Short of additional clues, I have to work my way down the list of possibilities...
Minuteman Missile NHS?

Julie has figured it out too.

The association with barbed wire may be logical, Eric, but this photo was not taken at Manzanar National Historic Site.

Manzanar NHS?
