Chapel Cove delights tour boat passengers at Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore. Bob Janiskee photo.
Mystery photo 47 shows tour boat passengers enjoying an up-close view of the Lake Superior shoreline in northern Michigan's Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore. The boat's bow is scant feet from the shoreline cliff, having been carefully steered into Chapel Cove, a grotto-like recess carved by wave action.
Congratulations to the Traveler readers who ID-ed the photo: Anon 7:23, Brumble, Brenda St. Martin, Phyllis Northup, celbert, lemmy1205 and ams. All are eligible for our monthly prize drawing.
