National Park Week Quiz #2: Find It And Fix It

Welcome to National Park Week Quiz #2! Each of the 11 park names listed below contains at least one error – that is, at least one thing that would have to be changed to make the park’s official name read correctly. We’ve shown what's wrong with the first fixer-upper, and now it's your turn to do the editing. You'll need to work carefully. BTW, two of these fixer-uppers have two possible answers, and either is acceptable.

(1) Bob’s Old Fort National Historic Site (should be Bent's Old Fort National Historic Site)

(2) Redwoods National Park

(3) Gulf Island National Seashore

(4) Smokey Mountains National Park

(5) Big Horn Canyon Recreation Area

(6) Chaco Canyon National Historical Park

(7) Klondike Gold Historical Park

(8) Prince William Forest Preserve

(9) Minuteman National Historical Park

(10) Black Canyon National Park

(11) Jefferson National Memorial

If we catch you engaged in sneakery, we will make you read -- in the original Russian, of course -- Leo Tolstoy’s two epic novels, War and Peace and Anna Karenina, then discuss (citing examples as appropriate) the various influences of these two classics on the evolution of historical fiction in Western literature. You will be expected, of course, to thoroughly discuss the pros and cons of the third-person omniscient perspective.
