Finally, after being closed for several years for restoration work, the Theodore Roosevelt House at Sagamore Hill National Historic Site in New York will reopen on July 12.

Head to Sagamore Hill National Historic Site on select Sundays this summer and you'll be able to enjoy the home of Theodore Roosevelt on Oyster Bay, Long Island, with some special programs.
A substantial, three-year renovation project will involve much of Sagamore Hill, Theodore Roosevelt's home on Long Island, New York, beginning next spring. As a result much of the home will be closed to visitors, although events and activities on the grounds will continue.
Work is under way at Sagamore Hill National Historic Site to bring many of Theodore Roosevelt's papers to your computer monitor.
