Quicktime

Not all of Saguaro National Park features its namesake saguaros. NPS photo.
Happy Valley -- the one in Saguaro National Park, not Penn State -- is somewhat of an anomaly when you think of the desert Southwest. While there are cacti to be found in the vegetation that surrounds the Happy Valley campsite, there also are some nice coniferous trees that lend a more northerly feel to the setting.
This panoramic offering from the folks at Saguaro National Park lets you take in a 360-degree view of the Happy Valley campsite, which is in the park's Rincon Mountain District, by using your cursor keys.

Great place with fabulous sunsets. The Desert Museum right down the road from the West side of the National Park is great too.
