Sitting Down With Ken Burns to Discuss The National Parks: America's Best Idea
Submitted by Kurt Repanshek on September 27, 2009 - 3:05am
Quicktime

Ken Burns quickly warmed to the topic of national parks, which he profiles in a six-part, 12-hour series called The National Parks: America's Best Idea. His passion for the parks was readily apparent during a 40-minute interview in Salt Lake City in late August.
Highly animated, expressive with his hands and moving from sitting to squatting then back to sitting during our interview, the filmmaker proved as entertaining as his projects. Here's the audio from that interview.
