Photographer: David and Kay Scott
During their stay at Mount Rainier National Park, David and Kay Scott not only toured the lodging possibilities there, but also had time to get out and about. During a stroll in the park they came upon this little guy, a Cascade fox.
Though listed as a threatened species, this guy obviously isn't camera shy.

Great Picture! I have enjoyed reading about your road trip.
Adorable!
Hopefuly some tourists/people will not hunt this little fellow. I mean, this fox should have left when he saw you. He's not afraid of people anymore and I think this will endanger his life. Luckily, you guys are animal loving people. What if the fox encountered pouchers or hunters?
