A Monumental Mascot

Moose in Katahdin Woods and Waters National Monument/Mark Picard

Thursday, September 15, 2016

When the National Park Service launched the website for the new Katahdin Woods and Waters National Monument, it prominently figured a moose on the home page, and what a moose it is! Surrounded by the monument's fall finery, the moose was captured by Mark Picard.

Beautiful picture, majestic animal.

I love this place
