When Winter's Cold Comes To Glacier...

Jane Timmerman
Tuesday, January 14, 2014

Winter's cold can be finger-numbing, but it also can be beautiful, as this shot of Glacier National Park and Lake McDonald by Jane Timmerman shows.

the trees were summer green instead of winter white, but the morning mist was rising from Lake McDonald

What a great sentence, KYTraveler.

What a beautiful picture! It brings back memories of our family vacation a few years ago when I took a picture in the same spot. Of course, the trees were summer green instead of winter white, but the morning mist was rising from Lake McDonald. . . a special place indeed.

Great photo!
