Description: This newsletter is an early opportunity for you to review and comment on the preliminary management alternatives for the Blue Ridge Parkway. There are three alternatives — alternative A (no action/continuation of current management) and action alternatives B and C — that are discussed in the Comparison of Preliminary Alternatives section. Also, alternatives B and C have been illustrated on a set of maps. The information is organized so that you can compare the similarities and differences among the three alternatives. The input we receive from you about these preliminary alternatives will be used to further improve the planning process, and may result in new or revised alternatives.
