Travis Mason-Bushman
Biography
I'm an interpretive park ranger with the U.S. Forest Service, stationed at the Mendenhall Glacier Visitor Center on the Tongass National Forest in Juneau, Alaska.
From a very young age, I've enjoyed our national parks and public lands, but I've taken a convoluted path to this career. Other hats I've worn include motorsports PR manager, editorial writer and sports journalist - I graduated with a degree in journalism from the University of Idaho in 2010, where I developed an integrated multimedia/social media sports blog. I will begin graduate studies at Indiana University this fall, with a research focus of new media and social media techniques for park interpretation.
