Another Parks Blogger Joins the Ranks

    I've got some good company out there in the blogosphere.
    Jerry Sullivan, whose background includes a stint as a seasonal ranger at Lava Beds National Monument in California and Olympic National Park, recently launched his own blog on national parks. Jerry, who now works for a company that creates interactive kiosks such as those you find in some parks, has pretty much the same mission as I do with my blog: keeping track of life in our national parks.
    Between the two of us, we should be able to keep you up to date with the goings on in parkdom.

Thanks Kurt, I think you've got a really great blog going here. Between new management policies, solicitation for private dollars, continued threats from development, not to mention hiking, camping and traveling, there is so much going on in the National Park Service, we will probably have a hard time keeping up with it all!
