An Iconic Way To Drink Your Beer

Share

It seems most everyone has their favorite park. Some love the stony silences of Yosemite, and others the glacier-covered peaks of the northwest. They are iconic landscapes and we often try to picture them when we're not there. But now you can reminisce every time you have a beer, with the new collection of pint glasses from North Drink Ware of some of your favorite spots.

These are full pint, handblown glasses, with an inverted topographical relief in the bottom of the glass. I had a beer in the California Pint last night (a Sierra Nevada Ale, of course) and watched Half Dome submerge under the golden liquid, with bubbles streaming from the shoulders of this incredible piece of granite. The glasses are dishwasher safe and lead-free, and come wrapped in a custom topo map in a cardboard cylinder. Classy glassy. And a bit pricey, at $45 per.

Besides Half Dome, there's Mt. Rainier and Mt. Hood. They also make custom wood coaster featuring the same USGS data, and wall prints. Enjoy a bit of the outdoors with one of their pints.
