Our cabin at Bryce. Kurt Repanshek photo.

My wife and I were able to spend a night in one of the Western cabins at Bryce Canyon on October 30, and it was a real treat.

These log cabins even have logs on the inside -- the support beams are bark-covered logs. And they have gas fireplaces, which adds some nice atmosphere after a long day on the trails.

Having a snowstorm leave a nice dusting on the cabin and surrounding grounds didn't hurt, either;-)
