National Park Mystery Spot 40: Do You Get It?

Mystery Spot 40 is a structure in a national park. To get this one right you need to specify both the name of the structure and the national park in which the structure is located. Traveler readers who answer correctly will qualify for our monthly prize drawing.

Here are all the clues you should need:

You will get more if you live on the upwind side.

You will get nowhere if you are fool who lives there.

You will get one in trade for your two sawbucks if just one is what you want.

Bonus clue, no extra charge: You will get just one if you ask for less than a double dip.

No cheating! If we catch you engaged in sneakery we will make you write on the whiteboard 100 times: “To calculate the circumference of a circle, simply multiply its diameter by 3.14159265358979323846264338327950288419716939937510.”

Ron and viewmtn, while your deductive reasoning is fairly good, you're still off the mark. If it's any consolation, Ron, viewmtn is much, much colder than you are;-)

That's not fair!  Turn the $20 bill over?  Do you have any idea how long it's been since I've seen a $20?

Jackson Lake Lodge in teton National forest

That would be Bridger-Teton National Forest, and Jackson Lake Lodge is actually in Grand Teton National Park.

I get that the "Jackson" clue, although Jackson in your example refers to someone different than Andrew Jackson. I'm stumped. I'm thinking of everything related to Andrew Jackson in the NPS inventory or even affiliated areas. All I can think of is the Hermitage - his home in Tennessee, although I don't think that's technically part of the NPS. Jackson, MS was named after Old Hickory, but I don't see anything that would fit in with the clues.

If I were to throw out a shot in the dark, maybe "Jackson" isn't specific other than the name itself and the structure isn't a building per se. Maybe Jackson Lake Dam at Grand Teton National Park? Purely a wild guess.

Just under the wire, viewmtn. Welcome to the winners circle, which is less crowded than usual this week.
