Voyageurs National Park Tent Camping Reservations For 2019 Summer Season Open November 15

Share

Reservations for tent camping at Voyageurs National Park next year can be made beginning Thursday/NPS

Overnight tent camping reservations for the 2019 season at Voyageurs National Park in Minnesota can be made beginning Thursday at 9 a.m. CST.

Reservations can be made at www.recreation.gov. However, due to the large volume of facilities being serviced by recreation.gov, houseboat reservations in Voyageurs will not go live until April.

Park staff encourage visitors who wish to camp in the park to make a reservation as soon as they know their plans. Please note that cancellation policies have changed in the hope that more campers who are unable to make their trip will cancel their reservation to make that site available to other visitors.

Overnight tent visitors may find a summary of the reservation program and policies at this pageInstructions for making a campsite reservation can be found at this page.

All income generated from overnight fees stays at Voyageurs National Park. These fees are used for the improvement of amenities at the sites, which include tent pads, docks, bear-proof food lockers, picnic tables, fire rings, mooring rings and site cleaning.
