Jasper National Park 2024 Resident Passes Now Available

The Jasper National Park Resident Pass for 2024 is now on sale.

The pass provides access to your residence through a park gate without charge and is valid from Jan. 1 to Dec. 31 each year. It's available to those who live in Jasper and whose vehicle registration displays their address.

To request a pass in person at the Alberta park's administration office, or online, people must provide ID with their name, physical street address and/or mailing address, and valid vehicle registration showing expiry date, license plate number and address. They must also show proof of employment in Jasper (such as confirmation-of-employment letter from employer, most recent pay stub, staff ID, etc.).

If applying online, upload photos of required documents but obscure any mentions of your social insurance number and banking information.

Resident passes requested online will be available for pick up two business days after submitting a complete application:

  • Monday to Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the west entrance of the Jasper National Park Administration Office at 607 Connaught Dr.
  • Saturday and Sunday at the Jasper National Park Information Centre at 500 Connaught Dr. Click here for the current hours of operations.

People working in the park who live outside the park, or reside in Jasper temporarily for work, are eligible to receive a Work Pass, which is valid from April 1 to March 31 each year.
