If you're in the area, stop by Grant-Kohrs Ranch National Historic Site on Sunday, October 16, to enjoy a fall harvest party!
There's at least one unit of the National Park System that will be celebrating the fall harvest: Grant-Kohrs Ranch National Historic Site, where a pumpkin party on October 16 allows you to give back to the community.
The affair, running from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. that Sunday afternoon, offers a chance to engage in some pumpkin painting, take a tractor-drawn hayride, send the little ones into a hay maze, and, weather allowing, enjoy a bonfire.
The guess here is that there will even be some spiced cider to enjoy!
As for giving back, they'll be collecting canned goods for the Deer Lodge Food Pantry, so don't show up empty handed.
