The body of a man missing in Shenandoah National Park since last weekend has been found, although a cause of death has not yet been determined.
Park spokeswoman Karen Beck-Herzog said the body of Tyler Keefer was located Friday in the Dickey Ridge area of the park, marking the end of a multi-day search.
The 21-year-old man had been missing since Saturday, July 6. His family reported him missing to the Front Royal Police Department and park officials were notified Monday that his bicycle had been located near the Dickey Ridge Trailhead.
Shenandoah National Park employees and trained volunteers, including dog teams, ground searchers, and support personnel were involved in the search.
