Tune In To Hear About Death Valley's Brutally Hot Year

Share

While Death Valley's claim to a 134° Fahrenheit temperature back in 1913 is now being eyed with a measure of skepticism, the national park continues to be a very, very hot place. This year it was brutally hot at times.

Download National Parks Traveler's next podcast, #87, this coming Sunday to hear a discussion between Traveler's Lynn Riddick and Death Valley Superintendent Mike Reynolds about just how hot it has been in the park this year. August alone saw a dozen record highs recorded in the park.
