The program will leverage free boat cleaning stations, public outreach, partnerships, and environmental DNA sampling to reduce spread of existing invasive species and prevent the introduction of new invasive species.

This will be the site’s first full open season since 2019 and follows a period of renovations and accessibility updates. During the first two days of the open season, June 1 and 2, the site will be open exclusively for self-guided open house visitation.
